SERVICE PARTIALLY UNAVAILABLE- VPN

Staff with surnames G through P are currently experiencing problems accessing email when using the LSE VPN.

Those affected can use Outlook Web Access or Remote Desktop to access email remotely:

Web access to Outlook https://exchange.lse.ac.uk/exchange/

Remote Desktop – http://www2.lse.ac.uk/intranet/LSEServices/itservices/remote/filesAndResources/accessResources/rDesktop.aspx

We anticipate this will be resolved when a fix is applied tomorrow morning, before 9.30am.

SERVICE UPDATE – Email

There is still a problem that needs further immediate investigation for staff usernames G-K. There will be disruption to email services for these usernames from 15:50 that will last no more than 2-3 minutes. All email services will be working fully by 16:00.

UPDATE – Email

Email for staff usernames G-K  is now working, however, the exact cause of the problem is still being investigated.  Usernames G-K may notice small outages of no more than 3 mins in their email over the next 2 hours whilst we investigate.

Email for staff usernames G-K still affected and PGRs H-O is fixed. The ability to send and receive for staff usernames G-K is currently affected. Mail is being delivered, but with delays. Resolution expected at approximately 1pm
